Every message lands with the person who writes the guides. Most get an answer within two business days, and corrections are read first.

Article correction: Something wrong, out of date, or missing in a guide. These get read first, and fixes from working tradespeople go to the front of the queue.
Partnership or advertising: Advertising, partnership and press enquiries. We do not accept guest posts, sponsored placements inside articles, or paid links of any kind.
Privacy request: Access, deletion or opt-out requests under CCPA/CPRA and other US state privacy laws. We verify by reply and respond within 45 days.
Something else: Questions about the site, its terms, or how it makes money.

What we cannot do

We cannot diagnose your specific unit by message, quote your job, or tell you whether a contractor's estimate is fair for your market. Those need eyes on the equipment, and giving that advice remotely would be exactly the behavior this site was built against.

Smell gas? Stop reading. Leave the building, then call 911 and your gas utility from outside.
